It was such a hit the first time that we're having another volunteer event on Saturday, August 22, 2009 from 9am-1pm !Serve food at Our Daily Bread! Our Daily Bread is Maryland’s hot meal program, serving more than a quarter million meals to the hungry of Baltimore City each year. Volunteer to Pour Beer at Artscape!

Artscape Volunteers Needed! Join the BJAC team as we volunteer to run a beer truck/booth for a local catering company at one of Baltimore’s most fabulous summer festivals – Artscape! The festival runs July 17th to July 19th, and we'll be there all weekend for all of the fun, music, art and festivities. Serve beer, meet new friends, sample some of the product, have a great time and raise money for BJAC programs! All tips will go to fund the BJAC foundation for the BJAC scholarship! There are 4 hour shifts available, atleast 4 people per shift needed. Friday - afternoon and evening shift Saturday - early afternoon, late afternoon, evening shift Sunday - early afternoon, late afternoon RSVP to Linda Nguyen at info@lindasellsbaltimore.com. Stadium Playground Rebuild- 30 SPOTS AVAILABLE!

Our Playground at Stadium Place was destroyed by an arsonist in September. Unfortunately, the arsonist has not been caught; police and fire detectives are still actively investigating. We are joining the efforts to help rebuild the playground located at 900 E. 33rd Street, Baltimore. The build is happening behind the Harry & Jeanette Weinberg YMCA Family Center at Stadium Place on May 9, 2009.

Best Buddies is dedicated to enhancing the lives of people with intellectual disabilities by providing opportunities for one-to-one friendships and integrated employment. They have an exciting event coming up on Saturday, April 18th to honor their outstanding volunteers and participants! It's a red carpet affair and they need some assistance decorating and serving desserts!

Feeding Homeless in Salvation Army Truck- FULL!

Since 1987, The Salvation Army Feedmore mobile feeding unit has hit the streets nightly during the winter months to provide hot, healthy meals to Baltimore City's homeless and impoverished. Feedmore's uniqueness is that basic necessities are brought directly to those in need. The Feedmore "canteen", is in operation six nights a week and is staffed by caring volunteers from throughout The Greater Baltimore Area. In addition to meals, Feedmore volunteers provide health care information, clothing items, warm blankets and toiletries to those in need. Dates available March 11, 16, 20 and 30. Only 3 per van per night, please indicate which night you would like on the rsvp. RSVP is REQUIRED! ONLY 12 SPOTS ARE OPEN!
